Project at MdRV
For our third semester creative coding project at mediendesignrv we made the interactive art installation „Helios“. The audio-visual artwork was realised with asteraofficial light tubes and camera tracking by touchdesigner. The area in front of the installation was divided into 3 sections. Depending on the position of the viewer, the visuals and sounds add up, so that in the closest, last section you are are exposed to a sensory overload.
Our installation was set up in a helix spiral. If you stand directly in front of the installation, you can recognise rays aligned in a circle - similar to a sun, hence the name Helios.
